Clinton Hill is East of Downtown Brooklyn, between Fort Greene and Bedford Stuyvesant.  It has incredible civil-war era mansions as well as brownstones and industrial loft buildings (located mainly on the north and east edges of the neighborhood). 

 

Pratt Institute is the neighborhood anchor, and there are many shopping and dining options along Myrtle and Dekalb Avenues.  It is served by the G and A/C trains.
